The following section outlines the format of the EPP Contact Info request. The purpose of the Contact Info request is to retrieve information regarding a registered contact object.

Notes

1. As the Registrar of Record, all information regarding the contact object will be presented on request.

2. As a registrar that is not the Registrar of Record, certain information regarding the contact object will be omitted.

3. Omission of information is controlled by the Registrar of Record through the <contact:disclosure> element and its associated flag setting.

4. As a registrar that is not the Registrar of Record, providing the contact authInfo password will allow the registrar to view all information as if they were the Registrar of Record, bypassing the <contact:disclosure> element setting.

A response code of 1000 means that the server has received and processed the request. Depending on the requesting registrar, information will be omitted in according to the Notes above.
