Org.Za
The .ZA Domain Name Authority (ZADNA) is the statutory regulator and manager of the .ZA namespace. Its mandate includes regulating all the operators of .ZA second level domains (SLDs), including Org.Za, Co.Za, Gov.Za and Net.Za.
In August 2013, ZADNA published the Org.Za and Net.Za charters for public comment and signaled its intention to transfer the operations of Org.Za and Net.Za from the current operator to the ZA Central Registry (ZACR), formerly known as UniForum SA.
Following the consideration of submissions received from last year’s Org.Za and Net.Za public consultation, the ZADNA Board of Directors has approved the final charters for Org.ZA and Net.Za, and has resolved that the administration of the Org.Za and Net.Za SLDs must be be transitioned to the ZACR.
Transition to ZACR
The Org.Za namespace was transitioned to the management of the ZA Central Registry in late July 2014. The links below provide crucial information regarding this transition.

The new charter was developed by the ZA Domain Name Authority (ZADNA) and governs the direction and reason for the Org.Za domain name space. - Transition Plan
The Transition Plan was proposed by the ZA Central Registry (ZACR) to ZADNA and approved by ZADNA. The plan outlines how the migration of the Org.Za domain names will take place as well as the changes that will take place on specific dates. - Notice To Registrants
- 22 July 2014: Notice was sent to all existing Org.Za domain holders (Registrants), outlining the transition plan, relaunch and additional information relating to the Org.Za domain.

Relaunch of Org.Za
- Launch Overview
The Launch Overview outlines the dates and times during which the ZACR will relaunch the Org.Za domain names space and allow the early registration of domain names. - Launch Policy

In the event that two or more applicants are applying for the same domain name during the relaunch of Org.Za, the final owner will be decided by auction. The Auction policy outlines the rules and procedures for auctions.
Registering a New Org.Za Domain Name
- Accredited Registrars
In order to register a new Org.Za domain name, an Accredited Registrar must be used. The ZACR provides a complete list of Org.Za Accredited Registrars in the earlier link. - Policies and Procedures
All domain names in the Org.Za namespace are governed by specific rules and regulations. These rules and regulations are outlned in the Published Policies and Procedures. - Fee Schedule
All Org.Za domain names are subject to registration and renewal fees. Please note that only ZACR Accredited Registrars have access to the wholesale pricing. Domain Owners must speak to their registrars regarding fees. - Dispute Resolution
Some domain name may be subject to disputes due to the current owner not having any rights to the domain name. All disputes are resolved in accordance to the Dispute Resolution Policy.

- Become an Org.Za Accredited Registrar
Registrars wishing to become Org.Za Accredited Registrars can do so by following Step 4 of the Registrar Onboarding Procedure and activating their Org.Za Live Credentials. - Policies and Procedures
